Information we collect
Information you give us
- Contact details: name, email address, phone number and company name.
- Order details: filter model, parts, quantities, ship-to address, shipping notes and any message you include.
- Anything you send us by email, phone or chat.
Payment card information. We do not collect or store credit card numbers on kgmgas.com. You enter card details only on our payment processor's secure checkout page (see Payments).
Information collected automatically
- Device and usage data, such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed, the page that referred you, and the date and time of your visit.
- Cookies and similar technologies (see Cookies and analytics).
Information from others. We may receive information from our payment processor (for example, that a payment succeeded), shipping carriers, and KGM-affiliated companies you already do business with.
How we use information
- Process, ship and support your orders, and send order confirmations, payment links and invoices.
- Answer quote requests, questions and service requests.
- Operate, secure and improve our website, including preventing fraud and spam.
- Send products, services and company updates by email. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in the email.
- Keep business records and meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.
Payments
Online card payments are processed by HubSpot Payments, which uses Stripe. You enter your card details directly on their secure checkout page, and KGM never sees or stores your full card number. We receive the payment status and amount and limited card details, such as the card type and last four digits. Stripe and HubSpot handle payment information under their own policies: the Stripe Privacy Policy and the HubSpot Privacy Policy.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as follows:
- Service providers that help us run our business, such as HubSpot (customer records, forms, email and payments), Stripe (payment processing), Google (website analytics and maps), our website host, and shipping carriers. They may use it only to provide services to us.
- KGM companies, when needed to fill an order or support you.
- Legal and safety reasons: to comply with law, a court order or a government request, or to protect the rights, property or safety of KGM, our customers or others.
- Business transfers: if KGM is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

We keep order, invoice and customer records as long as needed to serve you and meet tax, accounting and legal requirements, generally [7] years after your last transaction. We keep other information only as long as needed for the purposes in this policy, then delete or anonymize it.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections and a PCI-compliant payment processor. No website or transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and rights
- Email: Unsubscribe using the link in any marketing email, or contact us. We will still send messages about your orders and payments.
- Access, correction and deletion: you may ask what personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it, except records we must keep by law.
- State privacy rights: depending on where you live, state law may give you additional rights. We will not treat you differently for using them.
